Me and my best buds before Prom. I think we have about four or five pictures of us in this same pose. Three of which are under that same pool slide at Karols house. I met these two crazies when I first moved to town in 8th grade (Steph was in my homeroom class) and we've been best friends ever since. College cannot seperate us! We will go together attached at the hip, just you wait! Berkeley? PFFFFFT! Veronica doesn't need them! |
Five Guys 2gether Singing in Harmony For You...
Ah, 2gether. This is our movie, I kid you not. Yes, 8th grade was very much so a teeney bopper year. Yes, we still know the words to all the songs. Yes, we still watch it. It's a funny movie, ok? But anyway, this movie basically sums the three of us up.

Ghetto Ghetto... QUACK QUACK!
I think it was freshman year that Steph got bored in class and decided to make us a mascott. What we got was the Ghetto Duck. He was pretty cool: side ways hat, gold chain that said "GD" on it... he was awesome! Somehow my mom took this as "Melissa really likes ducks" and has proceeded to... inform Santa and the Easter Bunny (ahem)..... about my "duck obsession" and Santa and Easter Bunny have given me toy ducks for the past two years. Enough is enough already! I have enough ducks to start my own clan, I swear. |
Mr. Colin Farrell
The three of us have fairly different tastes in guys. Ok, fairly can be a serious understatement. Generally, Veronica and I like the same type, and Steph likes the polar opposite. Sometimes we switch around, but rarely is it that the three of us whole heartedly agree with one guy. Well, as far as I can remember (it's early, so who knows) Colin Farrell and Brad Pitt are the only two we agree on. If there are others, minor compared to these two.

Our first movie...
Once again, if memory serves me right...
this was the first movie the three of us saw together. was it the best? nah. but boy oh boy was it funny! it's the little things that you remember.
the lastest movie we've seen together was Bruce Almighty.
and then our movie is 2gether. everytime i watch that movie, i remember the good old days... lol |

but I especially remember Steph's obsession with the British boyband 5ive. She thought it was destiny for her to meet them, because her locker was right next to number 5, she had 5 fingers, etc etc. it was very funny. we gotta find them and let you meet them, Steph!!

Tech Theatre

see that neat costume made out of paper napkins? that is what a tech theatre class should be doing as a final - making costumes out of random objects you find. do you know what Steph and I had to do? a research project!! talk about retarded.
i guess it really didn't matter that much, though. neither of us cared, nor did we care all year. we did NOT like the teacher, and spent most of the year either talking back to him, talking down to him, or sleeping. we aren't bad kids, he was just a bad bad bad teacher. look at the fun we could have had! grr
